Above our heads in the darkness of the sky you observe
Slowly casting your shadow over the Earth
Soon hell will rain down on us from the heavens
We cannot save ourselves
As they fall from the sky, I have now realised; we're in our final moment
This is our departure, this is our last breathe
We gaze upon the sky for the very last time
We cannot save ourselves
Hell pours from the heavens destroying everything in sight
Machines descend from the sky as the earth is plunged into eternal night
"The world will shout save me, and I will whisper no"
This is our departure, this is our last breathe
We gaze upon the sky for the very last time
Our worlds collide
Killing everything that resides within this atmosphere
Poisoned by our self-destructive ways
We are trapped, under a falling sky
There is nowhere to hide
We cannot run from our demise
This is man's long awaited end
The sun will never rise again
This is our departure, this is our last breathe
We gaze upon the sky for the very last time
We have failed
It's haunting. It's chaos. It's energy. It's fatigue. It's happiness. It's sadness. It's love. It's hate. This is close to the perfect black metal album for me. Marcello Velasco
The album title is appropriate: this album makes you feel like a cosmic explorer as you approach the edges of our universe. Contemplating taking a leap into a potentially dangerous new universe, you admire the celestial sights but also go through significant introspection to determine whether such an adventure will be worth it. Masterclass ambient progressive metal for the sci-fi/space nerds out there! Challenging Apathy
This is my favorite metal album of all time. The only bad thing is that the vocals are somewhat buried in the mix. Otherwise, the record perfectly blends a mix of metal genres with excellent songcraft. A record you'll listen to again and again. The Real Nick House
Hearing the songs while reading the narrative behind the lyrics, I felt overwhelmed by this tragic story in which humans and artificial intelligence couldn't coexist side by side. Their reciprocal annihilation was inevitable. Except one "sole survivor, in a ship filled with memories. She had become the proof of Earth, proof that life had existed there, a voice for all the species and beauty we once knew". A dystopian concept dressed up in brilliant musicianship! @Slevin, thanks, I owe it to you! Umbra Cornuta
